Last Days in the US for a year

OK. Its has been a while, but I am fairly new to blog world!!! Am I supposed to make a post daily!! LOL!! Anyway, I made my way back to Georgia, went back to SC for my going away party and back to Atlanta to say my see you laters and pack.

My mom and sister came back with me to pack my things. That was truly a blessing from heaven. My mom came up with the bright idea to pack my clothing in those space saver bags in my suitcase and it worked..

I picked up my visa on Monday. Just have a few more lose ends to tie up.. I am soo excited. I had prayer and communion with my wonderful mentor on Thursday. She covered every concern in prayer that I had on my heart. I did not even tell her my concerns. Whoever denies the power of the holy ghost is a fool. I am no longer afraid because I am covered in the blood of JESUS and my life has been redeemed from destruction!! Hallejuah!!! I am soo excited!! I will miss everyone but thanks to technology, I can keep in touch!!!

Anyway the next time I write I more than likely will be on my way to KOREA!!! See you soon!!

LOVE YA

Finally!!!

Ok.. For the past two years, Ihave been learning a great deal in patience. This morning I finally received my notice of appointment so that I can go to the Korean Consulate to have my passport stamp. Since, this is my first entry let me back up just a bit.

After two years of self employment and looking diligently for a job in the US; I have decided to spend a year in Korea teaching English. Now that I think about it, God has been preparing me for this the last two years. I am sooo excited!! I

Anyway, I am still in South Carolina with my family. I love my family and I am going to miss them. My mom is more comfortable with my decision now, but I know that I must continue to pray for her.

Courage. It has taken a lot courage for me to continue to pursue this endeavor. But, I am at peace with my decision. I am soo excited about the time I will spend with God, visiting Dr. Chou's prayer mountain and just being on other side of the world. This is definitely the opportunity of a lifetime!!!

I have soo much too do to prepare for my departure. Thank God, I have such a supportive family. They bought all of my personal items including luggage. I got my immunizations already, Hepatitis A and typhoid fever, both of these cost $200.00!! Wow!! But, it is better to be safe than sorry. Thankfully, I had already been vaccinated for Hepatitis B. I have to pack, which I dislike with a passion. Not sure how all of this is going to fit in my bags. But we will see!!

Anyway, this is my Korean blog. This is detailing my preparation, arrival and time in korea. I pray that it is a blessing to me and those that read it. So enjoy and stay in touch!!!
